Skin tags are small, benign growths that typically occur on the neck, armpits, eyelids, and other areas where skin rubs against skin or clothing. They are usually harmless but can sometimes be irritating or aesthetically displeasing.

Thermavein is a treatment that uses heat to destroy the blood vessels that supply blood to the skin tag. This causes the skin tag to wither and fall off, without the need for cutting or sutures.

During the procedure, a small probe is placed on the skin tag and a high-frequency current is applied to the blood vessels. The heat from the current causes the blood vessels to coagulate, which cuts off the blood supply to the skin tag. Over the next few days, the skin tag will shrink and eventually fall off.

The length of time it takes for a skin tag to come off after treatment with ThermaVein can vary depending on the size and location of the tag. In some cases, the tag may come off immediately or within a few hours of treatment. In other cases, it may take several days or even up to a week for the tag to fall off.

Thermavein is considered a safe and effective treatment for skin tags, with minimal risk of scarring or other complications.
