Skin Boosters

What Are Skin Boosters?

Skin boosters are also known as injectable moisturisers with the ability to remodel the skin due to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid holds x1000 times it weight in water so as well as an excellent choice for plumping the skin it helps with texture, hydration and overall skin quality.

As a stabilised product it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen starts to reduce in our 20’s at the rate of 1% per year, in addition the skin also starts to lose elastin a protein which gives the skin the ability to stretch and snap back. With menopause oestrogen levels drop which again results in less collagen production.
