Chemical Peels
Medical Grade Chemical Peels
Our superficial and medium peels are formulated with a blend of Glycolic, Lactic and Salicylic acids to gently exfoliate the skin’s surface, revealing a smoother and brighter complexion. These peels are ideal for addressing minor skin imperfections and enhancing overall skin texture.
For those seeking more intensive results, our clinic offers retinol peels that penetrate deeper into the skin for a more aggressive exfoliation. Retinol peels harness the potent benefits of vitamin A derivatives to stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin tone and texture.
How Do Peels work?
It speeds up your natural skin’s healing process by stimulating the production of collagen and improving elastin fibres- these are what give skin it’s youthful form and shape. It also revitalises sensitive skin and helps improve the appearance of irritated or inflamed skin.
How will it feel afterwards?
- First few hours – you may experience redness, tingling, or burning
- First few days – you may notice some dryness, irritation, and mild swelling
- 2 to 3 days – your skin may look flaky or peel, and discolorations or imperfections may temporarily be more noticeable
- 3 to 4 days – you may breakout or notice skin looks tan or slightly darker than usual
- 5 to 7 days – all side effects should start to subside, and your skin should begin to look and feel “normal”
- 7 to 14 days – you will see the formation of healthy, new skin, but you may notice some redness or skin that is darker or lighter than usual for up to a month
